It has been 1 month since I last log in to maintain my blog / sell any items. I'hv been exhausted from work & a law suit that my hubby is going tru, which I really hope it will end up with a $$ FINE. I'm still praying really hard that there will be no jail term. He is being charged with false declaration and from the net it seems that the hashes sentence so far is a S$5,000 fine and 6 months jail term.
As my hubby is a self-employed foreign worker agent, he get his workers from China. So happened that his worker CW was fired by his previous boss. And if CW is to go back to China, he will have wasted his air tickets (which he has not break even) and some other admin chargeable fees. Being on S-pass his minimum salary is to be S$1,800. However, he agreed to work for his new employer for S$1,600. Well, I guess at that point of time it seems better then going back to China with less money! After maybe 2 / 3 months CW went to MOM to report the employer and my husband. Which they admitted to the charges in hope to have a lighter sentence. The hearing will be on 23rd Sep... ...
Sometimes it just does pay to be a "good person", we pity them for not able to find a better paying job back in China but they ended turning their backs on you.
