30th July 2007
Posted by Kehan.H at 1:23 PM11am: Just up went down stairs o have my breakfast together with my textbook as I will be having an exam later @ 3pm.
12.30pm: The washing machine is at it's second cycle and the maid had not come down yet to pour in the softener. Hence I decided to pour it for her... BUT!!! I fell even before I reached the laundry area... IT'S FLOODING!!! The maid have forgotten to put the host into the drain and it has over flown the laundry area. Landed on my butt then my head, I cried uncontrollably trying to get up but simply can't. Tried calling for her but she didn't hear me, instead my dog came and sat by side for awhile before she went to the stairs. But she didn't go up to called the maid but sat there looking at me then t the stairs again. So I rolled to my side so that I will not get too wet. After resting for some time, I crawled to the dinning table and reach for my HP and called Da.
1pm: Da came home and took me to hospital
1.30pm: Reached the hospital and the doctor broke my water bag. I was then induced for labour but after 8hrs still no sign that the babies are coming, so the doctor suggested that I go for C-section. On hearing this I started to cry more, as I'm so afraid of being cut open and furthermore doc also suggested that I go to sleep instead of half body.
11pm: I woke up in the operating theater, shivering non-stop simply cant control myself to stop shivering. I was being pushed out and I saw Da. Cant remember what he told me or ask me le... In a blur and very dizzy.
The next day, Da told me that they were born at 2157 & 2158 1min apart and are doing well for twins. Weighing 2.99kg(Jie Jie) and 2.45kg(Mei Mei) resp. Till date they are 1 week old le and have just brought them for they 1st checkup today. Weighing about 2.6kg & 3.15kg resp. Finally all the anxiety is over and this is the date of a beginning of a new chapter.

Start to be Afraid!!!
Posted by Kehan.H at 5:23 AMJust went for my check up last Saturday, all was well per the gynae. Now my babies are finally slightly above 2kg and my gynae is also not so worried about them coming too early. But I’m still worried for them & the pain & the method of birth & … …
Sometimes I want them to be out asap, so that I dun have to carry such a heavy load around and having to use so much strength to get out of bed in the middle of the night just to go to the loo or wake up in the morning. Now even turning & tossing in bed is a tough work, least to say experiencing numbness in the night after sleeping too long on my side. But I guess all will end soon, perhaps another 1-2 mths? Hope they will not come during my exam period (mid July), cos I dun wan to defer my exam to November (by then I will have 8 subjects in total). Nor do I wan to defer my course by half a year. Help me someone … … someone help me!

What to do Next?
Posted by Kehan.H at 3:00 AMIt’s yet another Monday… Sitting in front of the computer just to kill some time before I go to prepare lunch. Hmmm… What should I cook for lunch? Boring… Can someone come & bring me out? Shopping & massage may be the only thing I’m looking forward to now. Saw an ad on pre-natal massage not sure if I should go try in out. Well, it’s on a discount @ $78 per trial. Is this very expensive or should I just save the $$ for the port-natal massage? Sigh… …

Blues...
Posted by Kehan.H at 11:40 AMBlues … Must be the effect of staying @ home for too long with nothing much to do. Now that the maid has come, it has became my duty to tell her what to do everyday & make sure that she did it right. Lucky she understands English or else I will go mad. So far so good, she is fast in her work & able to take instructions. I hope she can still cope when the babies come & I have to go back to work. I’m already wondering if I would give up my job to take of my babies. I’m worried that Da would not be able to cope too. Having to support 2 babies, a wife & a family is no joke. Well! There’s nothing much we can do now but watch each step we take.
