Have been trying to plan a holiday in September to Hong Kong and in November to Phuket but it seems like it can never never accomplished. 1st it's too dangerous to bring the children there, then it's too hot, then it's the expensive air tickets, then it's which suite we should stay, then it's the shall we change to other places? GOSH!!! I just want to go to a happy little holiday that we can all bond together and have some fun and away from all the stress that we are having at work & home. It doesn't have to be big / live like a royal. Can't we just stay in a 3star bungalow with 2 bedrooms that cost S$110/night? Why must we stay in a 4star hotel that cost S$450/night? Too expensive!!! Furthermore reviews have shown that the 3star stay wasn't bad as well, but of cause we can't expect hotel like services but more like a chalet. Still it's good enough isn't it?

It all boils down to them being too protective and worried for the children. I understand but there's only just this much I can do & afford. I'm still praying hard that all will go according to plans.

The last 3rd B'day celebration for Jodie & Jonie was in their School!!! All the children welcomed us and are delighted to see their beautiful birthday cakes and cookies, which I ordered from auntyyochana.blogspot.com. I would definitely order again from her, as her cakes are not only good to look at but also yummy to eat. The hard coating which I learnt from her was called fondant?? was not too sweet as I thought it would be. Furthermore her charges aren't too expensive as well. Take for instance the castle cake, which she said was 6" with the design all from her, it cost me almost S$80. Which I believe if I'm to order from Bakerzin or some other more well known bakers would have easily been more then S$130.

However, after all the celebration and fun with their friends in school we have to rushed home to bring Jovie to see her PD again. Just as I was hoping not too long ago that she will stay sick-free longer the very bad news hit us. According to Dr. Keoy, Jovie has got very sensitive air way. Hence, once she is down with cold / cough she will start to wheeze very quickly. Her flu only started on say Wednesday, but by Friday Jovie is already wheezing and coughing badly which makes her very grumpy. Doc didn't give her any oral medication but prescribed her to start Neubalizer?? (can't spell). Looks like she inheritage something bad from me. I hope all will be better soon and that she is my cheerful baby again.
